The girl in the bus

I know that I sound pathetic because I always whine about being single. Anyway, If anyone of you know the girl that I'm going to talk about next, please let me know, I might have a chance with her. (I AM PATHETIC)

Anyway, I was on my way to work yesterday when I got on a bus and took a seat on one of the empty seats in front of the bus. I was just getting comfortable when I realized that there was another person beside me and she looked at me for a second. She was sitting at the window seat and she had her arms crossed in front of her. Well I thought she was kinda cute. By that time she looked at me because she might have notiaced that I was checking her out, so I turned away, smiling while I turned my head towards the front of the bus. And the cycle went on for about 5 minutes. I look at her, she looks at me and so forth. Then I noticed that she was singing a song to herself. I knew the song too. After the song ended, I told her that she had a nice voice, she blushed and said sorry if I heard her sing. Then I asked her where she was heading, she said that she was going home to Manila. She asked me where I was heading, I said I was on my way to work in Makati. I introduced myself and she said her name was Ann. Then I asked what was she doing in Laguna, she said that her parents had a house in Caliraya because she wanted to rest after the school year. She had just graduated Nursing in a college in the university belt. I didn't ask what school. She looks so nice and cute whenever she smiles. By that time I noticed that she still had her arms crossed in front of her so I offered my jacket because I knew that she felt cold and told her that it was stupid to reject the offer. I'm glad that she took the offer because would make me feel a lot better knowing that the person I'm talking to was comfortable. We talked about a lot of things from music to movies to hanging out. And before I knew it, it was time for me to get off my bus stop. I didn't notice that we were talking for about 2 hours without knowing it. She wasn't wearing any rings and she didn't speak of her boyfriend so she MIGHT be still single or what not. I didn't think of getting her number at that time because she might think i'm gonna stalk her. BAD IDEA ASSHOLE.

The more I think of it, I should have gotten her number if she'd give it to me. It's rare to meet a person in a bus and get a chance to talk to her about anything about the sun and she's really nice to talk to.

Most things in life you only have 1 shot at it and if you don't grab the opportunity, it might be lost forever.
