NHO week
NHO - New hire orientation
it was my first week with peoplesupport and it was fun. our trainers, arwin, cloud and iris were really cool and friendly. i just hope that my trainer for next week would be just as friendly. i also had my first 2 calls this week. the only downside of working is that i have to commute back home every fuckin day! and that my training starts at 2pm-10pm... sucks... good thing in working for a callcenter... FREE COFFEE!
actually, i never imagined myself working for a call center. i have always thought that call centers are no brainers and that im too good to be working at one. but after just 1 week, i realized that working at a call center isn't really a no brainer, because you really have to know how to troubleshoot quickly and it also sharpens your communication skills. honestly, it does. and the pay is REALLY good. i realized that call centers are not only for fresh grads with no experience but it is for everyone. i met a dentist and 3 engineers who said that their previous job didnt have the same salary as working in a callcenter. i guess that employment these days is really hard. one engineer who worked in a japanese company had a starting pay of 10000 while in the call center offered him 20000 as a starting salary.
highlight of the week:
i met this girl, mitzi. she's really nice and friendly. she makes working in a call center much easier for me.
